Gaming Meets Telecom
Viva, one of Bolivia's largest telecom providers, partnered with Command Line to build "Batalla en el Salar," a branded Fortnite experience tied to the launch of their new fiber internet service. The experience features vehicle racing and capture-point combat set on Bolivia's Salar de Uyuni salt flats.
The project marks one of the first times a Latin American telecom company has used Fortnite as a marketing platform. Viva ran the activation alongside a national campaign, targeting younger audiences who are hard to reach through traditional advertising. The Fortnite experience gave them a way to connect with that audience on a platform they already spend time on.
